HOSTED BUYER COMPLIANCE & ANTI-BRIBERY OVERVIEW

BG

This page is designed for corporate compliance, legal, procurement and audit teams reviewing a buyer’s participation in the Business Travel Show Asia Pacific Hosted Buyer Programme.

Purpose of the hosted buyer programme

The hosted buyer programme at Business Travel Show Asia Pacific is designed to enable qualified corporate travel managers, procurement leaders and other business travel stakeholders to:

  • Gain market insights and education on corporate travel in Asia Pacific
  • Benchmark programmes, policies and technology with peers
  • Meet a curated selection of vetted suppliers in a structured environment

The programme is not intended to influence purchasing decisions through gifts, personal benefits or inappropriate hospitality.

How the programme is funded & structured

The programme is administered by The BTN Group, part of Northstar Travel Group.

Hosted travel and accommodation benefits:

  • Are funded centrally by the event organiser from the overall event budget
  • Are not paid directly by any single exhibitor or sponsor to an individual buyer
  • Cover only event-related costs (for example, economy-class travel, hotel and event registration)
  • Do not include cash payments, lavish entertainment or unrelated gifts

Hosted buyers are under no obligation to sign contracts, change suppliers or make purchasing commitments as a condition of participation.

What buyers receive

Depending on eligibility, hosted buyers may receive:

  • Economy-class return airfare or equivalent travel support
  • Hotel accommodation for the duration of the event
  • Event registration and access to conference content
  • Pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings with relevant suppliers
  • Access to structured networking sessions connected to the event

All benefits are documented and linked directly to participation in the event.
