Steve is an aviation business leader with over 35 years’ experience in airline and tourism related industries. His career includes over 35 years with the Qantas Group (30 years) and the oneworld Global Alliance encompassing all aspects of commercial, airline operations, airline partnerships, crisis management and sustainability. In 2021 Steve joined the team at Envest Global - an organisation which seeks to empower travellers and stakeholders with the most objective, consistent, and transparent sustainability performance data for airlines utilising cutting-edge analysis and innovative insights. More recently Envest Global has analysed and benchmarked the sustainability performance of the airline industry with the aim being to help the industry reduce the time, cost and disruption to achieve net-zero emissions. Steve is based in Sydney however, his career has seen him working across multiple geographies – both within Australia and Internationally.
