Wei Chen (David) is Founder, Chairman and CEO of China Smart MICE Group. He holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham, UK. He currently serves as Chairman of the MICE Committee at the China Association of Travel Services, a city advisor to multiple municipalities, and a Guest Lecturer at some top universities. His accolades include the “Ten-Year Outstanding Contribution Award,” being named a “China Entrepreneur” by CCTV, and induction into the China MICE Industry Hall of Fame in 2023. Previously heading MICE operations at CITS/American Express, he pioneered the “Smart MICE” concept in 2010 and founded the Group in 2015, leading it to become an industry leader through continuous innovation.
